"If I could find a real-life place that made me feel like Tiffany's then I'd buy some furniture and give the cat a name." - "It's useful being top banana in the shock department." - Audrey Hepburn (she meets her upstairs neighbor George Peppard, who lets her escape the fire escape where she was NOT rescuing her cat).

In New York City you really can get to know your neighbors. The characters in the movie are not strangers, but, really they are; and to themselves. The theme of the mask is used in the famous scene I will not describe for fear of spoiling the movie, but you know which scene I'm talking about.

There's nothing quite like taking a stroll down a lane called 'Memory' that never has to end. You'll wish this movie doesn't. But you'll buy that furniture and finally name the cat. - JL - 10-31-2025

*** # Conclusion # ***

*** # A gigolo meets a lady with a cat, and that's the movie in summary. The whole eating-breakfast-while-standing-in-front-of-Tiffany's thing is a kind of ruse distracting from the main thrust, or point, of the story. And, always and forever, there is the eternal quest for home.
